Dear Members of our Beloved Community,
After much discernment and reflection, the Fond du Lac Center for Spirituality and Healing Leadership Circle has come to the unanimous conclusion that the original mission set forth by our founder, Dr. Michael Ketterhagen, is now complete. Michael’s vision was to establish a sanctuary where individuals could find the tools for mindfulness, healing, and spiritual growth—integrating these practices into the very fabric of their lives. As a result, it is with a profound sense of peace and fulfillment that the Leadership Circle announces the formal closure of the Fond du Lac Center for Spirituality and Healing effective January 31st.
The seeds of compassion, presence, and holistic wellness have been planted deeply within our members. We believe that the "work" of the Center no longer requires a physical structure or a formal organization to sustain it; rather, the mission now lives within each of you.
As we close this chapter, we ask you to carry the practices and spirit of the Center forward into your daily lives, and out to the community, with grace. Let the mindfulness you practiced here continue to nurture your spirit, may the open heartedness be the way you listen to a neighbor; let the healing you found here be the way you support those in need.
We are deeply grateful to the countless individuals who contributed their gifts, and shaped the vibrant community that has flourished here. We want to express our sincerest thanks to our dedicated staff, volunteers, donors, and every individual who walked through our doors. You are the heartbeat of the Center.
While our formal physical presence together is ending, the connections made here remain. We wish you continued peace, health, and wholeness on your personal journeys.
This is not a time of mourning, but a reason for celebration. We are entering a season of blessing, trusting that the spirit of our work will continue to ripple outward in transformative ways to continue expanding conscious awareness of the love we all share.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Michael Ketterhagen for his visionary leadership, and to Marian University for bringing Michael’s vision and love home. We thank each of you for being part of this sacred journey.
With peace and blessings,
The Center Leadership Circle
